Week 12

Week 12 class 2

Continuity to our assignment.
I realized that the main thing is to create a story in a very simple way and in a realistic way.  Even drawing storyboards in a very simple way can lead us to come up with bigger ideas.

working on my new animatic for this semester was a bit difficult for me. If I had stuck with my previous character, I would have saved tons of time which I could use it for animating.


Next, I imported my photoshop scene into toon boom harmony, while Ruby helped me to do that.

added a peg to every element of a character. Working on a Toon boom is definitely a challenging task for me. It is unlike other software like After effects or Nuke.



Now my next task is to add a different peg to different elements like head, body, arms etc.

Week 12

Stop motion shooting.




The final test was done today. We as a group were very happy with the lighting and camera adjustment. The only problem was with the armature, which was unable to stand on its own and the cable used to hang was not that effective.

Stop motion is definitely not an easy task to carry
We tested a couple of stop-motion shots today. We encountered some major issues such as

movement and readjustment of the camera can lead to mess up with an entirely captured shot.
So from next time, we decide to place the camera static. we can either mark its position or tape it to the floor.

The next issue was about the prop that is a rectangular human-like character whose legs were not attached properly. Fixing this for animation was a whole burden.  So today We are going to fix these kinds of issues and take a final shot.

Further Development for comics.

Reference images and pictures help to develop ideas, can broaden our concept on a particular subject.
In my context, I have this image of the ocean and an inside look of a submarine. which I will consider to use in my assignment.




The given images resemble the ocean and the inside submarine scene. This color where fish is shown looks vibrant and more interesting. there is too many colors in it.

Week 12

Time table for the submission for my assignment. I and Regil thought of listing a time schedule for our upcoming assignment.



Carrying up with my previous work. After a fruitful conversation with the tutor, I had to change this specific scene where I replace the shop with the building where Mr. Dees' office is located.

Week 12 semester 2

Think and create:

My work so far for the Assignment.
I have finished tracking the video, after lots of trial and errors. It was quite easy because it was tripod camera movement.

In Photoshop I made a matte for my comp.
here I have removed the tree and painted the whole building. This image will be later used along with the tracker.
