Surrealistic Film
It's a different art form of presenting the film in its modest form along with criticism and production which started in Paris in 1920. This was one of the artistic and cultural movements that began in this era. Mostly based on painting, literature, and cinema. Surrealism evolved out of dada( a nonsensical word that rejects logic, reason, and aestheticism of modern capacity, instead of expressing nonsense) from 1916-1922
Man Ray.
One and only American to play a major role in both the dada and surrealist movements.
The video reference showed
style, dreamlike with blur and unclear video, mostly black and white
Emak Bakia (leave me alone)
film effect with glare text transitioning, element or metal like 3D effects that I find very pleasant to watch, the Background music is well matched with the chore, violin, synthesizer.
Dance and leg movement shuffling can be seen in this particular video.
Maya Deren
Technology and different camera movement are used in his film
short video: Mashes of the afternoon.
Spellbound(1945) Hitchcock
camera zoom in, Camera Dolley involved.
He's done science fiction back in the 80s, blue velvet, long ride are some of his famous movies.
Lynch was more focused on his work rather than fame, an incredible filmmaker he is been nominated for many academy awards.
Elephant man: one of the best revolutionary movie in the field of visual effects. which took 3 years of time involvement to finish the shot. they even ran out of money, but the output was great. lots of crews were involved and was a big production.
His friends would narrate him saying,"Don't make a film that you don't want to show or that would be rubbish."
Rabbits: one of his films that include mostly slow and still poses of various characters with background sounds like clapping, cheers and audience laughing, the conversation was recorded out from the scene matching the right body movement.
It's funny and seeks that Lynch describes. Visually interesting.
tagline: In a nameless city deluged by a continuous rain… three rabbits live with a fearful mystery.
He has been nominated for Oscars for 4 times. 3 times for best director. His works are not made for the commercial. They are made for his interest.

For me, I found the work of Man Ray very interesting. His art often operates in the gap between art and life. His style of making films is very distinctive and creative.
