Harun Farocki
Born on the 9th of January 1944, Farocki was a German filmmaker who prioritized making highly politicized cultural milieu. He started making films in the late 1960s.
Farocki had made over 90 films which are more documentary based. He is also author to many books such as "Against what against whom", Another kind of empathy, Visibility machines and so on. Some of his movies are Phoneix, Barbara, Ghosts, Betrogen, videograms of a revolution, etc.
Etienne-Jules Marey
Jules Marey was a French physiologist and a developer of the motion pictures. His invention includes the camera with magazine plates that recorded a series of photographs.
